The Support Team
In tandem with the clerking team our support team is committed to providing client-centred services to instructing clients and members of Chambers. Led by Chambers Director Ann Langford, specialist teams have been developed which focus on Marketing, Finance, Information and Communication Technology, Library Management and Client Services.
Ann Langford, Chambers DirectorAnn is responsible for the management and development of Chambers' operations and people. She is a member of all Chambers' strategic and management committees and is the architect of Chambers' support team. Ann was formerly European Operations Manager of LECG and Director of Legal Affairs at the London Satellite Exchange. She holds a Master's degree in Coaching and Mentoring and is passionate about learning and excellence as a habit. |
Marketing
Our marketing professionals are responsible for the promotion of Chambers and its members as well as the development and coordination of Chambers' marketing activities.
Simon Spence, Marketing Co-ordinatorSimon is responsible for co-ordinating Chambers' marketing and communications activities - including organising events, distributing articles, conference papers and case notes and updating the website. |
Finance
The finance department manages Chambers' finances and provides accounting, bookkeeping and reporting services.
Caroline Gowan, Finance ManagerCaroline is responsible for the financial management of Chambers - with over 25 years' experience she has worked in many varied industries including property, recruitment, hospitality and most recently e-commerce. She brings with her best practice garnered from her past experience and combines this with a constant desire to pursue continual professional development. |
Information and Communication Technology
The ICT professionals are the custodians of Chambers' IT and communications services. With responsibility for the ICT infrastructure, the team offers all-inclusive support ranging from systems architecture and development to end-user support.
Joe Evans, IT ManagerWith over ten years' experience in the IT industry Joe has worked in web hosting, network management and consultancy. Aside from managing the day to day operations, Joe is constantly developing Chambers' ICT systems making use of the latest technologies such as server virtualisation. | |
Paul Moriarty, IT AssistantPaul assists Joe with the day to day running of chambers' busy ICT Department focusing on end-user support. As a recent graduate in Computer Science Paul brings to Chambers a solid foundation of IT knowledge and couples this with excellent customer service skills. |
Library Management
Chambers' Library provides members with traditional library tools as well as electronic, digital and online knowledge management resources.
Moira de Silva, LibrarianMoira is in charge of Chambers' library management. A qualified Librarian, Moira is also a member of BIALL and the Bar Librarians Group. As well as advising on, and maintaining, the various on-line information sources she takes care of our well-stocked and up-to-date hard copy library. Moira combines a meticulous regard for order with an ability to keep up with technology. |
Client Services
In liaison with the clerks, the client services trio has responsibility for front of house operations, conferences and events management, facilities and administration. The team takes pride in tailoring its services to the needs of internal and external clients and in performing to the highest standard.
Susan Davis, AdministratorSusan directs the client services team and provides administrative support to the pupillage and facilities committees. She brings with her extensive customer care and administrative experience gained as the Development and Membership Support Administrator at the International Institute for Strategic Studies and as a Retail Manager. | |
Linda Antonioni, ReceptionistFrequently described as the friendly face of Chambers Linda will usually be the first person you meet when calling and visiting Chambers. Linda is a committed client care professional whose experience includes working in the film and television industry and being an airline stewardess. | |
Jolanta Lukoševiciene, Office AssistantJolanta has overall responsibility for client hospitality and housekeeping. Jolanta combines extended experience as a Store Manager with a diligent and cheery disposition. |
