New Monckton Tenant Successfully Completes Internship at the ECJ

New Monckton tenant Owain Draper has returned to Chambers having completed an internship in the chambers of Advocate General Sharpston at the European Court of Justice.
Owain prepared notes for hearings and produced first drafts of Opinions in matters including the availability of exemption from VAT for supplies related to the supply of medical services, and European Union measures governing the freezing of the assets of suspected terrorists. He also undertook research for, and contributed to drafts by, the Advocate General's référendaires in cases involving, for example, air passengers' rights and the granting of refugee status.
